Penrose Pine is a family owned sawmill South of Sydney in NSW. We specialise in producing high quality CCA treated timber in hazard class H3 to Hazard class H6 and untreated timber products for use both outdoors and indoors. We also offer a wide range of custom timber processing services including machining, kiln drying and CCA timber treatment. Our custom timber processing plant includes high quality processing equipment form Weinig, Dimter, Holtec and Stenner. At Penrose Pine we specialise in those jobs that larger companies can find difficult to do, without compromising on quality or output. Penrose Pine Products at Moss Vale in the southern highlands of New South Wales is a family owned and operated business which employs 35+ people and is only two hours south of Sydney. We draw our stocks of plantation grown Pinus radiata softwood from Forests NSW. Although Penrose Pine Products is now managed by the third Cush generation, the business started with Frank Cush, who decided to open the mill in 1939 providing much needed packaging materials. After the war, the mill started to produce treated timber products, mainly for the landscaping and fencing timber markets, as well as smaller lines such as vineyard posts. We now deal directly with several well established independently owned retailers in NSW, along with directly supplying some specific products to key wholesalers. We have a high quality team of experienced people. Peter Cush is the Managing Director and has worked at Penrose Pine for over 25 years. Collectively our 35 staff have over 200 years experience. Penrose Pine is proud of its ability to be flexible and supply a growing number of products and services to different sectors of the timber industry.
